The 23 different SEARCA scholars finished their post-graduate studies overseas at the Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI); Universiti Putra Malaysia; Universitas Gadjah Mada or Institut Pertanian Bogor, both in Indonesia; or Kasetsart University, Chiang Mai University or Khon Kaen University, all in Thailand. The diploma packages of the 50 newly-graduated SEARCA scholars had been in the diverse specialised fields of agriculture and related disciplines. These consist of agriculture, agronomy, plant breeding, animal technological know-how, horticulture, entomology, plant pathology, soil technology, agricultural systems management, food technology and generation, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, forestry, rural improvement management, rural sociology, extension training, environmental technology, herbal aid conservation and information era for natural sources management.

Of the 35 Masters and 15 PhD graduates, 25 had been supported by the joint collaboration with the International Development Center of Canada, while six were supported by way of the German Academic Exchange Service, and one with the aid of the UC-Tokyo NODAI joint scholarship. During a testimonial software honoring SEARCA graduating students, Saguiguit enjoined them to put their know-how and talents to excellent use for the advantage of their respective families, home institutions and countries.
